Title

Practical and Robust Quantum Control

Abstract

High quality gates and state transfers are necessary for quantum computers and next generation quantum sensors and devices. In this brief presentation I will give an overview of how quantum control methodologies can be used to gain high fidelity control of a nitrogen vacancy center in diamond. I will further discuss how these control schemes can be benchmarked using randomized benchmarking and its derivatives. I will touch on some of the subtleties data analysis in a Bayesian setting.
