Title
Mathematical and experimental studies of tumour heterogeneity and plasticity
Abstract
For this proposed research, I will continue the work done during my Master's program. The goal of this project is to gain a better understanding of the role of heterogeneity within a cancer cell population. We will extend past work to include the effects of the tumour microenvironment and the effects of cancer therapy, and it will be completed using both mathematical and experimental models. We can then use these models to design efficient cancer treatment strategies.
