Applied Math PhD student named runner-up for student prize

Avneet Kaur was selected as 2^nd place for the best student paper in a contributed session at the Applied Mathematics, Modeling and Computational Science (AMMCS) 2023 conference at Wilfrid Laurier University, Waterloo. The title of the presentation was “Comparison of extended Kalman filter and recurrent neural networks for state estimation.”
