Wilfrid Laurier University

- Use Wilfrid Laurier University on first reference only.
- On subsequent reference, use Laurier when referring to the university (not use WLU or Wilfrid Laurier).
- Use Sir Wilfrid Laurier.
- Waterloo and Brantford are referred to as campuses: either Laurier’s Waterloo campus or Laurier Waterloo, and Laurier’s Brantford campus or Laurier Brantford. Never refer to Waterloo as the “main” campus.
- Kitchener is referred to as the Lyle S. Hallman Faculty of Social Work in Kitchener, the Social Work faculty in Kitchener or Laurier’s Kitchener location.
- Toronto is referred to as Laurier Toronto or Laurier’s Toronto office.
