Biography

Rob McLean is a Lecturer in the Arts and Business Program in the Department of Economics at the University of Waterloo, teaching Entrepreneurship and Practical Business Skills.

Rob served from 2018 to 2023 as an Assistant Professor at the Gordon S. Lang School of Business and Economics at the University of Guelph in the Department of Marketing and Consumer Studies. He also worked since 2009 as a consultant working with strategic planning, brand identity development, marketing communications, and content marketing in agriculture, agri-food, technology, government, and not-for-profit organizations. He previously worked with strategic brand development, sales, and marketing management for various local, national, and global brands at Guinness, Sleeman Breweries, Grolsch PLC, and SABMiller.

Rob joined the University of Waterloo in 2023.
