If you live within 100 km of an examination centre you are required to write at that Centre, University of Waterloo is considered an exam centre. You need to log into Quest before the deadline and choose your exam centre.
If you are taking on-campus courses, Waterloo will be automatically selected for you. If you live farther away you will need to arrange to write with a proctor.
Exam centres (other than Waterloo) hold up to two exams sessions. If you have more than two exams you will need to write the additional exams with a proctor. Alternatively you can choose to write the additional exams in Waterloo. Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to make arrangements.
The University of Waterloo arranges exam centres where there are clusters of students. Listed below are locations where we often host exams, but the list is subject to change depending on the number of students writing exams in each location.
You will be notified of the exact address of the exam centre in the weeks leading up to your exam. Current exam centres are:
