Exam centres

The deadline to select an exam centre was March 1, 2024.

If you live within 100 km of an examination centre you are required to write at that centre. University of Waterloo is considered an exam centre. If you are taking on-campus courses, your exam has been scheduled in Waterloo. If you live farther away you will need to arrange to write with a proctor

If you did not choose an exam centre or submit a proctor, you will be scheduled to write your exam in Waterloo.

Exam centres CANNOT provide any accommodations. If you are registered with AccessAbility Services you will need to schedule your exam with them or write with a proctor.

More than 2 exams?

Most exam centres (other than Waterloo) hold up to two exams sessions (at 9 am and 2 pm). If you have more than two exams you will need to write the additional exams with a proctor or write them in Waterloo. Email us at extendedlearning@uwaterloo.ca to make arrangements.
