Call for nominations: FAUW board directors

FAUW is seeking nominations for five FAUW Board Directors, representing the faculties of Arts, Engineering, Environment, Health, and Science.  Nominations close at 4 p.m. on March 13, 2024.

Running for the Board:

If you would like to run for the Board, please submit the following forms to fauw@uwaterloo.ca or MC 4001 by 4 p.m. on March 13:

• Your candidate nomination form, signed by three nominators
• Your candidate information form, which will include a candidate statement up to 500 words, speaking to:
  • why you want to join the FAUW Board of Directors
  • the skills or experience you have that would make you a good director
  • your approach to collaboration and how you'll apply it to representing all FAUW members
• A candidate photo for the elections webpage

All candidates and nominators must be voting members.

Nominating other people

Know someone who you think should run for the Board? Email Katy Fulfer and the NEC will contact them.

• Nominations open March 1, 2024
• Nominations close on March 13, 4 p.m.
• Electronic ballots will be sent Wednesday, March 20
• Voting closes at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, April 5
• Results will be announced at the General Meeting on April 9
