Toben Racicot, host of the Games Institute Podcast and PhD candidate in English, will be presenting "Creativity in the Classroom" for the Centre for Teaching Excellence "Special Topics in Teaching" Workshop on Thursday, January 30.
The main objective for the workshop is to illustrate, through various activities and discussions, how creativity can be fostered in different forms in classrooms to engage student imagination and provide different levels of rules and criteria.
Racicot will discuss the value of challenging students to write reflection journals and how it relates to metacognition.
