GI Member Alexandra Orlando Featured on 570 News

The Games Institute's very own Alexandra Orlando was on 570 News this past Friday addressing how eSports is a growing trend in Waterloo region, but also worldwide. She discusses at length the emergence of eSports as a source for large-scale competitions and discusses what she sees as the future for eSport competitors.

For those of you who have kept up to date on our GI events, I would like to give you an exciting update regarding Jennifer Whitson's GBDA 302 class who were involved in our GI Showcase event in March.
Today is the final day for the GBDA 302 project class, and the students will be presenting their games to their Jamaican partners - eMedia Interactive - this afternoon from 1:30PM-3PM.

This week The Games Institute Director Neil Randall sat down with the CBC Radio broadcast Spark for the segment 'Room escape games’ are putting a new spin on immersive gaming.'
