There are a lot of options when it comes to pursuing a graduate degree. Whether you're contemplating a specific discipline, already know your dream program or are fresh to the idea of graduate studies, the Faculty of Health's Graduate Studies Information Week is for you.

During the week of October 24, we will be offering a series of hybrid in-person and online sessions to help you learn more about graduate studies and graduate programs in the Faculty of Health.

Exploring graduate studies can be overwhelming. The higher education team from the Centre for Career Development (CCD) will be at this session to answer any questions you might have about graduate studies. CCA will share short content videos about grad school when you register - ensuring this event is mostly about you! Come to the session with your questions about grad studies and the higher education team will be ready to answer them.

GRAD STUDIES IN THE SCHOOL OF PUBLIC HEALTH SCIENCES - Tuesday

Researchers and students in the School of Public Health Sciences take an interdisciplinary approach to public and population health challenges in Canada and around the world. SPHS offers professional, online master's programs as well as research master's and PhD programs.

Participants will learn about research areas, courses, funding and admission requirements and processes. You'll also have the opportunity to hear from the program team and current graduate students.

GRAD STUDIES IN THE DEPARTMENT OF KINESIOLOGY AND HEALTH SCIENCES - Wednesday

Students and researchers in the Department of Kinesiology and Health Sciences are focused on an interdisciplinary approach to optimizing health, preventing injury and illness and extending the years of high-quality life. Research and coursework are focused in the areas of biomechanics, neuroscience and physiology and nutrition.

Participants will learn about research areas, courses, funding and admission requirements and processes. You'll also have the opportunity to hear from the program team and current graduate students.

GRADUATE STUDIES IN THE DEPARTMENT OF RECREATION AN LEISURE STUDIES - Thursday

Thursday, October 27, 2022, 12:00-1:00PM - Online via MS Teams

Students and researchers in the Department of Recreation and Leisure Studies examine the implications of leisure and leisure behavious on individuals, communities and society. Areas of focus include sport, business, therapeutic recreation, tourism and events.

Participants will learn about research, courses, funding and admission requirements and processes. You'll also have the opportunity to hear from the program team and current graduate students.
