Convocation is a special time for our graduates to celebrate their achievements with family and friends.

University of Waterloo's Spring Convocation ceremony for the Faculty of Health takes place Tuesday, June 10 at 2:30 p.m. (procession starts at 2:10 p.m.) in the Physical Activities Complex (PAC).

Post-convocation celebration

Graduates: Come celebrate your status as a Waterloo alumnus at the official convocation celebration on the B.C. Matthews Hall (BMH) Green following the ceremony.

Graduates and their guests are invited to celebrate with classmates, professors and staff who supported them through their Waterloo student experience. Commemorate the occasion with photo opportunities, grad gifts, or degree frames. No reservations required.

Highlights

  • Emiko Arshad (Kinesiology Co-op) to receive the Governor General's Academic Silver Medal, awarded to the top graduating student in the Faculty of Health
  • Shreya Chatterjee (Health Studies Co-op) to receive the Alumni Gold Medal, awarded to the next top graduating student in the Faculty of Health
  • Emiko Arshad (Kinesiology Co-op), Shreya Chatterjee (Health Studies Co-op) and Jennifer To (Therapeutic Recreation and Joint Psychology) to receive the Highest Academic Achievement Award in their departments
  • Fasih Rahman (Kinesiology and Health Sciences) to receive the Governor General's Gold Medal for the highest standing in a doctoral program
  • Drs. Bryan Smale and Paul Stolee to receive the designation of Distinguished Professor Emeritus
  • Raksha Aravind (Kinesiology Co-op) to speak as the Class of 2025 valedictorian
