The key: being diet resilient. Despite the many challenges life brings, we must continue to eat well and be active.

Dr. Keller will discuss nutrient needs for healthy aging and provide strategies and resources to help aging adults stay well.

We are delighted to announce that Dr. Gro Harlem Brundtland – world renowned for her work in public health and sustainable development – will be our keynote speaker.

Dr. Brundtland is the former Prime Minister of Norway, served as Director General of the World Health Organization, and Chaired the World Commission of Environment and Development (the Brundtland Commision).

Quit-It: New perspectives on youth cessation from NDIT

This presentation will overview what we have learned about youth cessation to date from the 13-year Nicotine Dependence in Teens (NDIT) cohort investigation.

The talk will begin with results from our systematic reviews on the frequency of quit attempts, the determinants of cessation, and the results of randomized controlled trials testing youth cessation interventions. It will then overview our work of the natural history of cessation in youth.

Career Night - Speed Networking 2013

Join over 21 AHS alumni as they return to campus to share their experiences, offer career insight, and speak with you and your fellow classmates about what to expect once you have graduated from Waterloo.

In small groups, you’ll be able to meet and talk with alumni, ask questions, and find jobs that interest you.  After the “speed networking” component, you will have the opportunity to follow up and speak with any of our alumni guests over a bite to eat.
