A new study has revealed the 25 most common diagnostic lab tests in the world, information that could be key for any jurisdiction looking to develop universal health coverage.

It is with great pleasure that the Applied Health Sciences (AHS) Teaching Fellows announce the Winter 2019 Teaching Assistant Award recipients:

  • Michelle Loo (Kinesiology)
  • Megan Muir (Recreation and Leisure Studies)
  • Saad Ahmad (School of Public Health and Health Systems)

These three graduate students exceeded the expectations of their course supervisors and the expectations of the undergraduate students they interacted with. Congratulations and thank you for your hard work and dedication!

The Faculty of Applied Health Science congratulates Kinesiology PhD candidate Steven Pretty, who is one of three University of Waterloo doctoral studies students named Vanier Canada Graduate Scholars.

Every year, exceptional co-op students from each faculty are recognized by the University of Waterloo for their contribution to their employer, their community and the further development of experiential education.

The University remembers and reflects on the life and contributions of Kenneth G. Murray, LLD '95, founder and patron of the Murray Alzheimer Research and Education Program (MAREP).
