Leni Aniva awarded Governor General’s Silver Medal
Leni Aniva, an undergraduate student who has recently completed a data science degree in the Cheriton School of Computer Science, has been awarded the Governor General’s Silver Medal.
The award recognizes a student graduating from the Faculty of Mathematics with the highest overall average.
Robin Wen wins Alumni Gold Medal for 2022 graduating class
Robin Wen, a student who recently finished a program in mathematical physics, is this year’s recipient of the Alumni Gold Medal for the Faculty of Mathematics.
The award is administered through Alumni Relations and goes to an outstanding student with top-notch grades and academic potential.
One undergraduate student from each of the university’s six faculties receives the award at spring convocation.

Seeing Possibilities and Rewards in Computer Science
Seeing Possibilities and Rewards in Computer Science (SPARCS) is a week-long, immersive workshop, designed for students from grade 9 and 10 belonging to underrepresented gender identities in computer science who have little or no previous exposure to the subject.
