Anthony Amadio (Rx2011) and Mike Collins (Rx2011), WRHN residency co-ordinators have developed the newly established pharmacy residency program to provide pharmacy residents with training opportunities in hospitals to increase leadership, management, research, teaching and distribution skills. The formal partnership with the Waterloo Pharmacy will provide potential opportunities for the residents to conduct research with faculty members, manage PharmD co-op students and deliver academic lectures to future pharmacists.
Brett Hummel (Rx2027) is committed to integrating Indigenous and Western approaches in his patient care. Through his studies, he’s developing the clinical skills needed and is using his own experiences and compassion to foster trust and improve health outcomes for Indigenous communities.
