The School of Planning is pleased to announce that Kayleigh Swanson will be serving as the new Student Governing Board Representative for the Association of Collegiate Schools of Planning (ACSP).  She will be serving a two year term which begins this spring, "the role of the student representative is to ensure that the concerns of students are reflected in discussions and decisions of the ACSP Governing Board."

Jack Rosen Pitch Competition

The Jack Rosen Pitch Competition is a multifaceted program aimed at supporting aspiring young entrepreneurs through pitch resources, coaching, and exposure. The Jack Rosen Pitch Competition provides a valuable opportunity for students to get practiceget noticed and get $3,000 to fund their idea.

The School of Planning acknowledges that much of our work takes place on the territory of the Neutral, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee peoples. Our main campus is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land granted to the Six Nations of the Grand River

In addition to our regular faculty complement, the School commonly draws on sessional instructors, many of them registered professional planners, to teach courses relating to specific areas of professional expertise and to substitute in case of faculty leaves. The School of Planning is very pleased to announce that Kevin Curtis joined our team as of September 1, 2016, taking on the Faculty position of "Planning Lecturer". Kevin is an accomplished Planning professional with a tremendous range of practical and academic experience.
