On March 20th, 2024, between 9:30 and 11:00 a.m the Duo two-factor authentication (2FA) service will be making the following changes:
- Passcodes will no longer be an option for 2FA-protected web applications from the Duo Mobile App
- Verified Push will be enabled for all applications
What is Verified Push? When logging into a 2FA-protected service, you will see a 3-digit code on the login screen. Enter this code into the Duo Mobile app on your device to approve the Duo Push request. This prevents accidental approvals when you're not actively logging in.
