Chronic pain affects millions of people, Annemarie is studying pain and connecting the lab to real-world health challenges to better understand how pain develops and persists. Juewen is exploring how our DNA sequences are being targeted by drug delivery to advance medicine, diagnostics and treatment strategies Waterloo researchers are focused on finding solutions. Join us to explore some of the great things happening right in your backyard at the University of Waterloo.

Among the diversity of exoplanets discovered in the last few decades are a particularly intriguing type called lava worlds. In this month's KPL astronomy talk, Dr. Lisa Dang will share how we find these scorching hot rocky planets, and discuss how we can study them and what you could experience if you were to visit a lava world.
