Wetland Cleanup

Gender Equity Lecture Series

In this talk, we will explore the connections between Miranda Fricker’s work on epistemic injustice and the ways that it can manifest in academic settings. We will focus on the relation between epistemic injustice and social privilege, highlighting the ways in which epistemic injustice directly contributes to ongoing gender inequity. Finally, we will offer some ways in which we might work toward greater gender equity and what our personal responsibilities for collective injustice might consist in.

Alumni Ski Day at Osler Bluff

Waterloo Science alumni, join us and your fellow classmates for the annual Waterloo Science Alumni Ski Days - the event is now over two days for double the fun - at Osler Bluff Ski Club, a beautiful private resort near Collingwood. The Faculty of Arts, the Faculty of Health and the Faculty of Engineering will be joining the outdoor fun so come to ski, snowboard or snowshoe with your fellow classmates and make it a memorable day on the hills to make the most of our beautiful Canadian winter.
