Scam alert: Telephone calls targeting Asian communities

Please be aware of an ongoing scam targeting Asian communities in Kitchener-Waterloo. The scammers are targeting callers with automated messages that claim to be calling from the Beijing police, INTERPOL, the Chinese consulate or a delivery agency. These calls are threatening in nature and the message alleges that you are under investigation.

Pre-entry tests not required for fully vaccinated travellers to Canada

Starting April 1, 2022, pre-entry tests are no longer required for fully vaccinated travellers entering Canada. Please see our COVID-19 Information FAQ on preparing to enter Canada as a student.

We're Here to Help

For many of you, February 7 will be the first time you step foot on Waterloo’s main campus. To provide support and a warm welcome back to campus, the Student Success Office is relaunching the Here to Help campaign and will offer wayfinding events during the weeks of February 7 and February 28.
