No more than one of the elective courses may be taken from another department, with the approval of the Associate Chair, Graduate Studies.

- co-op placements are for two four-month periods or one eight-month period and are facilitated by the department of co-operative education, who operate an employment exchange and matching service
- Co-op work term report is due at the end of Fall Year 2
