The Math Innovation Office and the Dean of Mathematics Office are proud to host Alumni Career Success Panel, an event that brings accomplished Math alumni back to the University of Waterloo to share their stories and inspire students.
Join us for an exclusive panel discussion featuring the 2025 J.W. Graham Medallist and the 2025 Alumni Achievement Medal Award recipients.
Come ready with your questions and be inspired by the incredible journeys of our top Math alumni!
A networking reception will follow the discussion, with refreshments. NOTE: You must attend the talk to attend the Networking Session.

Time: 4:30 – 5:30 p.m. (Panel), followed by a networking session in DC 1301 with delicious refreshments from Oh Graze.

The Faculties of Engineering, Mathematics and Science are delighted to host an alumni reception in Seattle in October. At this games night and social, you will enjoy great food and a selection of over 30 craft beers on tap as well as fun games (unlimited mini golf and duffleboard) while you personally connect with your University of Waterloo classmates from Science, Math and Engineering. Connect with professor Mary Wells, Dean of Engineering and professor Mark Giesbrecht, Dean of Mathematics, at the event and hear the latest news from the University of Waterloo.
Guests must be 21 or older to attend after 7:00 p.m. Minors are allowed at Flatstick Pub until 7:00 p.m. Official and acceptable identification will be required by all 21+ attendees in order to obtain an alcoholic beverage.
There are no physical tickets needed to attend this event. Once your registration is completed, you will be added to the guest list. Please check in at the door when you arrive at the event location.
The Faculty of Mathematics will host their annual Math Faculty Reception. The event will be a seated dinner for faculty members only.
Connect with University of Waterloo alumni and meet current students – MBET students who will be visiting from Waterloo and undergraduate co-op students currently on work terms in San Francisco and the Bay Area - for an exclusive evening of conversation, discussion and celebration. Throughout the night there will be the opportunity to meet and hear founder stories from University of Waterloo alumni from companies such as Imply and Tanda.
You will also have an opportunity to meet and hear updates from the Deans of the Faculties of Engineering, Mathematics and Science who will be at the reception.

This is a special event for invited guests to recognize and celebrate the achievements of our talented undergraduate students.
Waterloo Math and Engineering are delighted to host an alumni reception in Seattle in October. At this pub and games night, you will enjoy great food and cocktails as well as fun games (billiards, ping pong & shuffleboard) while you personally connect with fellow University of Waterloo alumni from Math and Engineering.
Cost is $15 per person. Each ticket includes two drinks, appetizers and games.
