Join the Institute for Quantum Computing (IQC) for Quantum Today, where they sit down with researchers from the University of Waterloo’s IQC to talk about their work, its impact and where their research may lead.
This month, IQC PhD students Andrew Cameron (supervisor Kevin Resch, Department of Physics and Astronomy) and Connor Kapahi (supervisor Dmitry Pushin, Department of Physics and Astronomy) will discuss their recent collaboration, in which they use hybrid quantum entanglement to remotely control the shape and structure of a single photon. Learn more about quantum optics and structured light in this conversation moderated by John Donohue.
You can find their paper, “Remote state preparation of single-photon orbital-angular-momentum lattices,” in Physical Review A.
