Mr. David Lai, specializes in trust, commercial and company law, financial investments, and regulatory provisions. He has 40 years of experience in the government, private and professional sectors.
Prior to joining the legal profession, he was the Asian Pacific regional head of two US public listed companies operating in technology, media and telecom (TMT) and energy fields. He was also the Managing Director of a Sino-HK telecommunications and project investment company and the Assistant CEO of a HK commercial television company.
Mr. Lai was an officer of the Fire Services Department and last served the HK Government as the Head of Interpol, formerly the Royal HK Police Force. During his police service, he was awarded with commendations from police commanders, Attorney General, Drug Enforcement Administration and FBI of the US Department of Justice.
Prior to practicing law, David studied various fields: industrial engineering at HK Polytechnic, law at University of HK, and management at Bramshill Police Staff College (UK).
