Career goal: I want to do research, so I have a dream to become a scientist.

How I get involved: I get involved by applying to be a science ambassador, to volunteer for on-campus events. Also, I am the vice president of MNS society. I am in charge of organizing different kinds of events (ex. fun lab, review-session, student prof night…)

Why I love my program

I love my program as it is an interdisciplinary major of both chemistry and physics. I like both subjects so I really enjoy material science. The program offers me a variety of fields to explore. This includes organic chemistry, thermodynamics, solid state physics, quantum mechanics and other fascinating topics.

Why University of Waterloo?

I choose uwaterloo for its well-known coop program. Work experience during undergraduate time is a precious for me. I can apply theoretical knowledge I learn in class into real life practice when I am on a work term. Also, I choose science because of my love and dedication to it since high school.
