How I get involved: I’ve been an exec for the UW Concert Band Club for 7 terms now! I’m also a volunteer for UW Supporting SickKids and the UW Charity Knitting Club.
Why I love my program
I’ve gotten to explore all aspects of biology and pursue courses and experience in the topics I am most passionate about! From medicine and human health to nature and ecology (and everything in between), there are courses for every kind of future biologist.
Why University of Waterloo?
The original factor that drew me to UWaterloo was the co-op program that has helped me gain valuable work experience in a variety of fields. Especially as a freshman, I really appreciated the welcoming and supportive community we are lucky to have here in the Faculty of Science!
