Program: Biomedical Science with a minor in medical physiology
Stream of study: Regular
Career goal: Study medicine and become a cardiologist
How I get involved: I am a teaching assistant (TA) and a volunteer notetaker with accessibility services for various courses. I am a member of the brain exercise initiative and the Pre-med club and I am currently on an intramural team for volleyball. Not only that, but I am a research assistant in the Department of Kinesiology where I study cardiovascular and pulmonary physiology. Furthermore, I am also completing my Undergraduate Thesis with the chemical engineering department, where I am using CRISPR-cas9 to express protein products in recombinant baculovirus expression vectors.
