Program: Honours Science
Year: 3
Stream of study: Regular
Pronouns: She/Her
Career goal: Post graduation I would love to work in a role that brings scientific discovery to a wider general audience, perhaps through consulting, reporting, or research.
How I get involved: I volunteer with Science Outreach and am an executive member of enTECH computer club, a club that promotes technological literacy among older adults, alongside being a Science Ambassador. I have previously been a member of WatSolve Consulting Group and the Green Residences Program.
Why I love my program
I love the flexibility Honours Science offers with it's non-rigid structure. It allows me to take a breadth of courses across different science disciplines and even outside of the faculty, and I get to tailor my university experience to my specific goals and explore varied interests.
Why University of Waterloo?
I chose Waterloo for the opportunity to develop technical skills and gain practical knowledge right from the classroom. UWaterloo is renowned for constant innovation, and I was excited to join a dynamic community where I could get hands-on experience in labs as well as access career building resources through co-op advising and the EDGE program.
