Program: Honours Science, Neuroscience Minor
Year: 2
Stream of study: Regular
Pronouns: She/They
Career goal: Something research related, I'm still exploring all my wonderful options!
How I get involved: I love to get involved both inside the University of Waterloo and outside in the community! Aside from being a Science Ambassador, I am an active member of many of the clubs here on campus (especially ones with movie nights like Waterboo and the UW Movie Club), and am also an executive member of the brand new University of Waterloo Neuroscience Society! Off campus I volunteer at Grand River Hospital in the Paediatric Clinic and mentor a FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) team at a local highschool (Team DAVE).
Why I love my program
The versatility of the Honours Science program has allowed me to perfectly customize my degree, and has led me to explore every possible option here in the Faculty of Science. I am currently looking to switch into the Psychology (BSc) program to even further explore my love for neuroscience, which the diversity of this degree has allowed me to do!
Why University of Waterloo?
The unique campus, opportunities for research and outreach, and amazing quality of education made this the perfect university for me!
