Program: Biomedical Sciences, Cell & Molecular Biology Specialization, Chemistry Minor
Year: 3
Stream of study: Regular
Pronouns: He/Him
Career goal: Clinician scientist and professor
How I get involved: On campus, I am more active in the Muslim community. I really enjoy attending club events, especially those of the pre-med and science societies. Currently, I am a teaching assistant for a first-year course and also part of the committee for this semester's referendum.
Why I love my program
Biomedical courses give me a solid foundation in the areas I am interested in, including genetics and chemistry. The workload has taught me time management. Additionally, interacting with professors and having the opportunity to do research with them is incredible to me.
Why University of Waterloo?
I chose Waterloo because of its well-structured and organized education system, from course selection to counseling and support. Also, the congratulatory letter I received from the science ambassador foreshadowed the welcoming community I had chosen.
