How I get involved: Besides being a Science Ambassador, I am a volunteer with Let's Talk Science Outreach and Co-president of Stem Cell Club.
Why I love my program
My program gives me the opportunity to explore all the different fields that biology has to offer. It's flexibility allows me to take courses that fulfill my interests and help me find my passion. The hands-on lab lets me apply what I learn in lecture to real-life situations, making the learning experience both practical and exciting.
Why University of Waterloo?
I chose Waterloo for its co-op program because of the opportunity to gain hands-on work experience while also completing my degree. Co-op allows me to apply what I learn in a real-world setting, develop practical skills and build a strong professional network. It also helps me explore different career paths and find a job I love!
