Queen’s principal proposes doing ‘less with less’

Looking at ways to deal with their debt, the leadership is asking faculty to take a reduction of 2% in their raises (which was refused by the faculty association), and departments to cut costs and find ways to make more money. They’re also compiling lists of Queen’s properties that could be sold.

GRT Corporate Bus Pass

The Grand River Transit (GRT) corporate bus pass is coming to the University of Waterloo. The passes will be available to regular full and part-time staff, faculty and CUPE staff members. The cost is $51.05 per month, a savings of $8.95 per month, and will be processed through payroll deductions. Sign up date is Wednesday December 9th, 11:00am to 2:00pm DC 1302.
