In response to the latest switch to online schooling for children in Ontario, a Teams group is being formed by Andrea Brookfield and Nandita Basu to help support members of the UW community caring for children as they navigate the needs of their families and careers.
UWSA hosted a Staff Conference Drop-In Session as part of this year’s Waterloo Staff Conference. Directors and staff were available to answer questions on a wide range of topics including the updated Policy 14 Pregnancy and Parental Leaves (including Adoption) and the Return to Work, which was approved by the Board of Governors on April 6; how to get more involved with the UWSA, and what discount offers are available to members.
