Call for Members: Staff Excellence Fund Committee

The UWSA Appointments Committee is calling for two members to join the selection committee for the Staff Excellence Fund.

The Staff Excellence Fund (SEF) is managed by the Provost's Advisory Committee on Staff Compensation (PACSC). PACSC has delegated responsibility to the UWSA to bring forward proposals from staff for two portions of this fund: Engagement and Leadership Development, and Healthy Workplace Initiatives.

The UWSA has established the SEF committee to generate, review, and recommend for approval staff-generated proposals for SEF funding that are in alignment with the goals of the Staff Excellence Fund by engaging UWSA members and supporting their proposal efforts.

Call for Members: Copyright Advisory Committee

A representative on the Copyright Advisory Committee is needed for a one-year term starting immediately.

The Copyright Advisory Committee (CAC) serves as the primary forum for collaborative decision-making regarding copyright and its applications on campus. The committee will work to keep campus administration, faculty, staff, and students informed about the current and ongoing status of copyright and licensing related issues, projects, and developments.

A representative on the Joint Health and Safety Committee is needed at the Stratford campus location. Staff representation on these committees is mandatory under the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Act.

Seats: One staff representative is needed
Term: May 1, 2024  to April 30, 2027
Deadline: April 19, 2024
