As announced at our June 10 Area Reps meeting, the University of Waterloo Staff Association is excited to share that the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) committee has reached the agreement in principle stage with the University. This means that UWSA is now able to share the MOA draft (pdf) with staff.
Keep an eye open for your invitation to attend special MOA sessions that will be held throughout the summer to talk about the changes to our MOA and what they mean for staff. One big improvement that will strengthen UWSA’s ability to effectively serve the interests of staff is that all new staff who are hired at UW after the signing date of the agreement, and who have a USG assigned at hire, will automatically become members.
