A brief note about Bill 124 salary settlement discussions

We acknowledge and appreciate that staff are frustrated that we do not yet have an adjusted salary settlement to account for Bill 124 being struck down, two months after the faculty adjustment was announced.

We are actively and frequently discussing this at the Provost's Advisory Committee on Staff Compensation (PACSC), where we are working hard to get a fair deal for staff. This university-level committee is confidential, so we can’t share the details of those discussions, but there have been several extra meetings in an effort to reach a recommendation for the provost. We hope to have an update soon and will share that with you via email as soon as we can!
