Congratulations to Max Chemtov and Victoria Grace Wilkes for being recognized with special awards this year during convocation!
Max Chemtov, who is graduating this year with a degree in Honours Mathematical Physics, has been awarded the University of Waterloo Alumni Gold Medal.

"One thing that stood out during my time at UWaterloo was the sense of community within my cohort – everybody was there to help each other out, which became especially important when classes went online. Along with the inspiring enthusiasm of certain professors and the opportunity to learn in a wide range of areas, that’s what has made this degree so memorable."
Victoria Grace Wilkes, who is graduating with an Honours Biochemistry degree is being recognized with the University of Waterloo President's Award of Excellence.
Each year, the undergraduate student with the highest graduating average from each Faculty is awarded a special honour of either the Governor General's Academic Silver Medal or the President's Award of Excellence.
