Do you know how your own culture influences your interactions? Are you aware of your own biases? Do you want to develop skills that will help you interact more successfully and meaningfully across different contexts? This workshop will help you gain intercultural knowledge, develop an appreciation for different perspectives, and explore strategies to help you develop Intercultural Competence.
By the end of this workshop, you will have the ability to:
- Recognize the importance and role of self-awareness to understand and appreciate other perspectives
- Use your expanded knowledge to understand how culture influences all your interactions
- Utilize strategies to communicate more successfully across cultures, deal with bias and stereotypes, and to continue developing your intercultural competencies
