Connection Collective is hosting an open house to share how SWEET equity is. Join us from 12-3 p.m. on February 12 to craft a DIY box of candy and build a community of love.   

Decorate your own assembled candy box! write a Valentine's Day card for someone in YOUR community. We'll provide inspiration for community-care centered messages to include inside your cards.

Join a representative from Service Canada to learn more about your Canadian Social Insurance Number (SIN).  This session will outline what a SIN is, why it is needed, how to protect yourself from fraud, and will also explain the process for applying for a SIN online.   

Thursday, February 8, 2024 — 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM EST

The Foundational Training Program for Peer Leaders (FTP) is a two-part program that consists of i) online preparation course and ii) training workshop.  Completion of FTP requires completion of the online preparation course AND attendance to one workshop. Join Waterloo's immigration consultants to learn about applying for a new temporary resident visa (TRV). If you are from a visa-required country, a valid TRV is required to re-enter Canada. After renewing your study or work permit, you may need to apply for a new TRV. We will discuss the application process, required documents, and how to mail your passport. There will also be information on inviting a family member to visit you in Canada on a TRV.
