Village 1

Welcome to Village 1! Village 1 consists of four quads separated into 26 houses. Each house has three or four floors with 14-16 students per floor. There is one Don per house. Floors and bathrooms are gender-specific but houses and lounges are shared. V1 consists of private lockable single rooms, shared lockable double rooms (shared by two individuals) and semi-private lockable interconnecting rooms (shared by two individuals). There is one all-gender washroom located in the Community Centre.

Amenities

Access to a 24-hr front desk in the community centre. The front desk offers: printing, stamp purchases, parcel pick-up and mail distribution. You can also visit the front desk to sign out equipment, facilities, movies and games. Looking to get mail delivered to your residence? Find your mailing address.
WatCard operated laundry facilities are located in the main laundry facility in the community centre.
Multi-faith space, music room, and e-sports gaming space are located in Village 1 community centre.
Mudie’s eatery is located in the V1 community centre, complete with a large dining hall.
Residents are able to book shared rooms and spaces for group meetings or study sessions.

Understanding your Village 1 Assignment

There are 4 quads in V1: North, South, East and West. Each quad has 6-8 houses, indicated by: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, or 8. The first letter of your assignment will indicate your quad and the second number will indicate your building. For example if you are placed in V1 E1 you have been placed in the East Quad in the first house (E1).

Your room type for V1 will either say V1-single, V1-double or V1-interconnecting.
