We offer in-person residence tours most weeks of the year! if you’d like to explore our residence communities, find out more information and register for campus, faculty, and residence tours through the Visitors Centre.
Village 1

The main campus tour stops in Village 1 and is offered Monday-Saturday most weeks of the year. Sign up for a campus tour through the UWaterloo Visitors Centre.
Claudette Millar Hall

Claudette Millar Hall is occasionally shown on the traditional-style residence tour available through the UWaterloo Visitors Centre (offered Wednesdays and Fridays). By signing up for the traditional-style residence tour, you could see either Claudette Millar Hall or Ron Eydt Village, depending on which building the student tour guide lives in or which building is available to show that day. Note: Ron Eydt Village is typically shown more often as it has twice the number of beds compared to Claudette Millar Hall.
Ron Eydt Village

Ron Eydt Village is occasionally shown on the traditional-style residence tour available through the UWaterloo Visitors Centre (offered Wednesdays and Fridays). By signing up for the traditional-style residence tour, you could see either Claudette Millar Hall or Ron Eydt Village, depending on which building the student tour guide lives in or which building is available to show that day. Ron Eydt Village is shown more often as it has twice the number of beds compared to Claudette Millar Hall.
UW Place

Sign up for a suite-style residence tour through the UWaterloo Visitors Centre (offered Wednesdays and Fridays) to see either UW Place or Mackenzie King Village, depending on which building the student tour guide lives in or is available to show that day. Note: UW Place is shown more often than Mackenzie King Village since UW Place has approximately four times the number of first-year beds compared to Mackenzie King Village.
Mackenzie King Village

Sign up for a suite-style residence tour through the UWaterloo Visitors Centre (offered Wednesdays and Fridays) to see either UW Place or Mackenzie King Village, depending on which building the student tour guide lives in or is available to show that day. Note: UW Place is shown more often than Mackenzie King Village since UW Place has approximately four times the number of first-year beds compared to Mackenzie King Village. The best way to see Mackenzie King Village is to attend an open house, where all first-year residence buildings are open for tours.
