The first Café-rencontre of 2013-2014, held on September 18th, was a great success. Our guest speaker, Professor Joseph Acquisto from the University of Vermont, captivated our audience with his lecture on the works of Charles Baudelaire and Benjamin Fondane. Acquisto graciously discussed his research with interested students, faculty members and friends of the department after his lecture.
