The French Department offers two diplomas focusing on French Language acquisition.
Diplomas I and II are mutually exclusive, and only one diploma can be granted (highest level achieved). Students who have completed the required courses can apply for the appropriate diploma on the Application to Graduate form. Diplomas will appear on the official transcript and students will receive a paper diploma at graduation.
Diplomas will not be awarded to students who are completing, or have completed, a French Major or Minor.
Please review our Placement Rules to determine your entry level in the course sequence.
