Biography

I am originally from Nanaimo, B.C., but moved to Quebec city in 1987, where I lived for 15 years. I hold a B.A. in French Studies as well as an M.A. in Linguistics from Laval University. I have been teaching full time at the University of Waterloo in the Department of French Studies since September 2005. As well as teaching on campus, I am also the coordinator for the department’s online versions of FR 151 and 152. My main areas of interest are Second Language Acquisition and theories in grammar instruction.
