Two exceptional student teachers

Two of the four recipients of the 2013 Amit & Meena Chakma Award for Exceptional Teaching by a Student are PhD students in the Faculty of Mathematics.

Big E and Special K contest results

The Big E and Special K contests (PDF) were held on Saturday, November 3, 2012. These are mathematics contests for undergraduate University of Waterloo students.

The Special K contest is for first year students and the Big E contest is for upper year students. Both contests consist of six problems, and complete written solutions are required.

Canada Excellence Research Chair

The University of Waterloo was selected to recruit a Canada Excellence Research Chair in the area of Security and Privacy for the New Digital Economy.
