The School of Planning is pleased to announce that the University of Waterloo Planning Alumni of Toronto (UWPAT) is once again hosting their annual in-person dinner! The dinner will be held on Tuesday, November 8th, 2022, at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel in Toronto. The reception will begin at 5pm. Please find more details about the event and speaker

What can photos taken by streetcar enthusiasts reveal about the changing nature of cities? This is the question explored by Brian and Michael Doucet in their book Streetcars and the Shifting Geographies of Toronto: a visual analysis of change.

Derek Coleman is a PhD graduate (1974) from the University of Waterloo’s School of Planning. A pioneer in environmental policy in Ontario Planning, Derek started one of the first environmental consulting firms in the province in 1972- Ecologistics Ltd. Since then, he has completed more than 1,000 projects in Ontario and six other provinces over five decades.

Futures Forum 2023 – Public Engagement & Technology
