The Jack Rosen Pitch Competition is a multifaceted program aimed at supporting aspiring young entrepreneurs through pitch resources, coaching, and exposure. The Jack Rosen Pitch Competition provides a valuable opportunity for students to get practice, get noticed and get $3,000 to fund their idea.

The annual ACSP Conference will be held virtually again this year in two segments! October 7th will focus on the theme of climate justice and the 21-23 will focus on anti-racism.
The School of Planning welcomed our incoming undergraduate & graduate students! On September 10th, over 115 students attended the School’s virtual events to welcome incoming students to Canada’s largest planning school. At the undergraduate event, new students met faculty and staff, PSA co-presidents offered words of wisdom, advisors shared resources for student success, and the event wrapped up with a website-wide scavenger hunt (featuring prizes!).
The School of Planning is excited to announce that the Planner-in-Residence for the 2021-2022 academic year is Jay Pitter. Jay will deliver PLAN 403 in the winter term to our 4th year undergraduate students, and interact with the School community in various other ways throughout the year.
Sessional Lecturer Positions -- Winter 2022
The School of Planning at the University of Waterloo is inviting applications for sessional lecturer positions for each of the courses listed below. Courses are taught in Winter 2022, and the term runs from January 4th to April 29th. Each position requires a minimum qualification of a Master’s degree and evidence of teaching experience and/or training.
