Understanding Obsessions and Compulsions

OCD is a serious and debilitating disorder that affects approximately 370,000Canadians, but it is often quite misunderstood. This presentation by clinicalpsychology graduate students at the University of Waterloo will provide anoverview of a wide range of obsessions and compulsions and offer anunderstanding of why these symptoms persist. In doing so, stigma andmisinformation about OCD will be addressed to leave listeners with anaccurate understanding of this condition.
