Congratulations to Dr. Colin MacLeod who has been named a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada.

In 1882 the Royal Society was established as Canada’s National Academy by an act of Parliament. Fellows of the Society are those who “who have made remarkable contributions in the arts, the humanities and the sciences, as well as in Canadian public life” and who have been elected by their peers as “the best in their field.” Colin of course hits both marks and it is deeply rewarding to see his outstanding contributions to science acknowledged by this honour.
