Amplifying diverse voices in STEM
STEM with Disabilities was inspired by the frustration of being a student with disabilities and the epiphany of the power that comes from community. Through sharing lived experiences, the visibility project connects scientists, engineers, technologists, and mathematicians with disabilities, offering diverse role models for postsecondary students.
Celebrating five years of the Waterloo Centre for Astrophysics
For the past five years, the Waterloo Centre for Astrophysics (WCA) has created a research-rich atmosphere where the sky is (literally) the limit. Whether they are exploring dark matter, dark energy, black holes, or mapping the unknown parts of our universe, the researchers at the WCA are pushing boundaries daily and exploring unchartered territory, so we can better understand our world.

Waterloo Science alumni, join us and your fellow classmates for the annual Waterloo Science Alumni Ski Days - the event is now over two days for double the fun - at Osler Bluff Ski Club, a beautiful private resort near Collingwood. The Faculty of Arts, the Faculty of Health and the Faculty of Engineering will be joining the outdoor fun so come to ski, snowboard or snowshoe with your fellow classmates and make it a memorable day on the hills to make the most of our beautiful Canadian winter.
